They have another one coming out? I thought everyone is playing (and completely sick of) W.O.W.?

My brother played it but I never got into the whole mmorpg scene. The only one I played was wow(briefly).

Holy 7 year old bump batman. Revived the thread from the dead.

Darn I didn't even realize it when I posted. TommyHolly why did you revive this lol?

Hey it may take some of a while to answer these threads, but it's better than ignoring them. ;)

Yeah but bumping such an old thread is well wrong ;)

BTW yes I did play it when released and that lasted for 3 months hehe.

I accidentally chose Ascending instead of Decending order when I did a search and got the oldest threads instead...

Which brings up something Ive been wondering about. Why is the default in the games section set to "Last Day"? Ever since they updated the forum software about 2 years ago it's been like this. It's a pain in the butt to mess with that every time.

I'd never seen a 7 year thread bump before, this is a peice of internet history.

Nate-X's last post was October 7th 2001, so yeah.

I cant help but wonder what happened to him. I wonder how DAoC treated him, maybe he still plays...

Mine defaults to newest. Its a setting in your profile you can switch.

Maybe he was one of those Korean guys in the internet cafes that played so much and for so long that he forgot to eat and died? That happened to a few of those DAoC players out there? Hmmm DAoc comes out and Nate is never heard from again, coincidence, I think not. ;)

I just noticed the original post was 4 days before 9/11, a very different time from today.

Haha! Nice bump! I remember playing DAoC. I played it for a couple of months because a girlfriend wanted to. I didn't find it very enjoyable to be honest. The new Warhammer game has piqued my interest though and I hope it's relatively fun. Everquest and World of Warcraft were awesome when they were new. It was just downright fun to explore and experience new stuff.

I actually played DAoC... It was the last MMORPG that I played. Its been so long I forgot the details. I just remember getting so piissed off about how unbalanced some of the classes were. (complete invisiility for those baskstabbers, and one-shot kills for archers sucked and there was no defense.)
