I want to buy a new video card, but which one?

When I built my computer I went with a motherboard with onboard video to save money. Recently I've been doing a lot of gaming so I figured I would buy an agp video card. My computer is an Athlon 1.2 ghz and has 320 mb of pc133 ram. I want a good agp card, but don't want to spend more than $100 Canadian (which is somewhere around $65 US I think). What would be the best card to get?

You might be able to get a GeForce 2 MX 400 for that price.

Id say either the MX400 for a Radeon LE or Radeon 7000 when they come out next month.

I recommend the GF2 mx also. It's good bang for the buck.

the radeon le would whoop the mx its basically an underclocked radeon32mbddr...check out the review at anandtech

and the radeon LE can easily be turned into a normal radeon.

Im also looking to buy a new video card as my trident 4mb agp is not cutting it anymore for me i think it is holding me back from getting higher FSb speeds i don't wanna spend more then $100 us. Could someone please help me decide i play counter strike and i need the best card for my price range. What is better radeon LE or VE? or Geforce or vodoo 5? Thanks

Ve is junk with games.
Voodoo5 was great in its time but doesn't make alot of sense to buy now.
Unless your talking of a Gefore 2 Pro/Ultra or Geforce 3, then the Radeon Le is the best price/performance.

i agree for the price the le is the best, but if youi could find the voodoo 5 for the same price i would pick that up....it wont have good fps but itll look really nice

you can get a Geforce 2 GTS 32mb DDR off of pricewatch for $88 plus shipping. I have a GF2 GTS 32mbDDR and its great for gaming. I have it overclocked to 230/380...so if you want a good gaming card that would be the way to go.
