Asus CRW-5232AS-Quiet 52X/32X/52X CD-ReWriter - Retail (CD-009-AS)



Just got that today. It comes with a lead to go from the Writer to a small adapter, then there is a kettle socket and lead that connects that to a 2 pin socket.

Only we don't have 2 pin sockets.

Am I ok just to use a normal lead with a 3 pin plug on it? ala the one you get with games consoles , kettles etc. ? Or do I need like an electric shaver adapter for the 2 pin plug to go into? Thanks.

If it only has 2 connectors, then it usually means that there isnt a ground. I dont know anything about adapters for different countries, so I cant tell you much there. The main thing to be concerned about it the voltage differences. US voltage is 120V. Make sure it is compatible before you plug it in.
