Hi,

just wanted to let you know that these cD0 Celeron are sooo cool. I just got my Celeron 800 boxed today and I had the luck and got a cD0 CPU SL5EB 1,75V. The pack date is the 31st of August 2001, so it's new new new!!!!! I played a bit with it til now and I got it up to 1,2 GHz but a little unstable. I'm now burning it in a little @ 1,1 GHz and 1,9V Vcore. Hope to get it stable @1,2 GHz the next days. But man, that's a nice little overclock!

what chip set is your motherboard?

Cool. Overclocked the same stepping celeron recently, got the same results. For the money, maybe the best overclocking Intel chip yet.

The Abit BF6, that I used, features the good old Intel BX-chipset and of course Abit's Softmenu III for FSB settings in 1 MHz increments from 83-200 MHz.

so at a 150mhz fsb you are on a 100mhz agp bus which may have been too much for the mx, what exactly was unstable at 1.2ghz? you should try booting into safe mode at that speed and running prime95, if prime95 runs ok then the cpu is not the thing holding you back

Yes, you could be right, that the Video Card might hold me back. But on the other hand, I can run upto 160 MHz FSB with a P3 667 without video problems. I think it's the CPU, but with a little more cooling (some 120mm fans) I'm sure it'll work @ 1,2 GHz.
