The MCP600 has been discontinued in favor of the newer 12V MCP650. I'd look at that pump instead. The MCP is no slouch, but the MCP650 has a much greater availability and should be much easier to setup.

The MCP600 is the same as the AquaXtreme 50z found at cooltechinica and D-Tek... still a fine pump. You would IMO be much better off with this PSU from Meanwell... http://jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores...toreId=10001&catalogId=10001&productId=125259 and it is cheaper and better. It is a 15V PSU with 2.8A and the voltage can be adjusted downward or upward... there is a voltage regulator right on the back of it. I have a meanwell 240W 24V for my 24V RD-30. Essentially you hook the pump up to the DC out of the PSU and then cut a powercord and hook it up to the AC side of the PSU. The one drawback is now you have to plug the PSU into the wall, so you will have 2 PSU cords. You can see the full specs of the PSU here: http://meanwellusa.com/cat_pdfs/c_s-40.pdf They also make a 12V version which you could over-volt instead of undervolting the 15V.
