PC's also locking up a lot more, now that I had to put this temporary video card in it. I blame the old ATi drivers for this.

ya know I had a pc that was all screwed up doing wierd stuff. I went into "regedit" and deleted everything with ATI in it and it fixed it. I like ATI vid card but they don't uninstall the drivers very well.

Current boxes are:

Duron800@800
PIII Notebook at 1000
Now if I could only OC my Duron I'd be happy. Today's project.

Here's what i got for you who aim to measure mine against yours :)

Tbird 1.4 @ 1.55 24/7
Tbird 1.4 @ 1.55 24/7
Tbird 1.2 @ 1.35 18/7
P3 800 @ 960 24/7

in the next two months
Celey 533@800 24/7
Tbrid 1G @ 1G 24/7
Duron 850 @ 850 or higher ?/7

and before christmas
Tbird 1.2 @1.2 24/7
Dual top of the line Athlons, whatever that may be!!!!!

before christmas i should have twice as much computing power set up as remote systems at other peoples houses as i will have in my own household. Anyone with large quantities of techy type friends should try very hard to do the same even if they sign them up for a different account or whatever
KEEP ADDING SYSTEMS
RECRUIT FRIENDS

As of this afternoon and the forums coming back online here you can add 200Mhz. The Duron is resting comfortably in a ECS K7AMA which appears to be nearly impossible to overclock. Tried the jumper setting and got nothing since the bios locks you out of voltage settings, etc. The experimental "hack the processor with a razor, dremel, whatever cutting the L6,L7,L4? bridges and repencil the appropriate bridges" worked but I ripped the Duron up pretty good. It is now folding at 1000Mhz at 1.8v. Stock HSF w/AS2 instead of the chewing gum that they had put on there to begin with. Been folding like that for about an hour now. Hopefully it continues to work.

Tbird 1.0 @ 1.409
Tbird 850 @ 850
2 K6-2/500s

I added the second K6-2/500 to my collection today, and put a 12 port hub behind my router in anticipation of additional folders. Right now heat is the biggest issue. It was 30c in my computer room today...

Not quite yet. It locked up a couple of times after a couple of hours. Upped the voltage to 1.85(maxed out on the bridge setting) and will check it in the morning. There is no temp sensor for this thing but there was no sign of heat damage when I pulled the heat sink so I'm not going to worry about that too much. HSF is doing it's job nicely.

It gives you a visual list of all the software in the registry. If ATI is hanging around in there you will definitely see it. Its freeware.

Athlon 1Ghz@1000. I'd like to overclock it but it's the "family computer" so my dad thinks I'd break it by overclocking.

I fold on my personnel rig.....

duron600 at default since my beloved 8k7a died on me and I'm running my old kt133 board which can't oc. :( I think the duron should do at least a gig, when my epox board was working i played around a little bit and got it to do 6x133 stable at default vcore so i think i can hit 1ghz.

My duron been running at 1.85v for over a month now with just a cheap coolmaster hsf, goes up to around 48c when folding

OK.
It's been holding steady and folding steady at 1.85. The heatsink is barely even warm and it's cranking them out for at least 24 hours. Success! Next step is to buy a AYHJA Y and one killer MB for the main box and retire the KT7Raid/tbird 900 to folding only. When a good well tested alternative to the Tyan MP's comes out it will be time to start shopping again.
