I have seen this link going around the web. www.downloadmoreram.tk Could someone explain exactly how this is supposed to work? and if it would be any better then windows virtual memory sytem.
Is this recommended? at least until I can afford more ram.

I think it's a hoax. I wouldn't even dare try "downloading ram." :)
That is the most unbelievable thing i have seen this year.

Download more RAM? :D
Lol! BS without a doubt. I went for the 8MB version and guess what. Another page opened and a bannder-ad. I looked at the source and to me it looks inocent, but I'm no html-expert...

Its undoubtedly a hoax. There is no program that can get you more ram or make you ram perform any better. The only thing that makes your computer go faster is overclocking or adding more ram. My guess is that thing contains massive amounts of spyware or viruses or both.

Maybe it uses the cpu cache as extra ram and the floppy disk as the cpu cache?!

Oh, yeah. That could give you anywhere from 256k to 1mb more RAM, depending on your CPU. The CPU cache shouldn't suffer too badly from using the floppy, since floppy drive latencies are actually pretty good.
Sarcasm.

Lol! I'm actually using my floppy as a "speed-cache" for my hd's. :D
(BTW, as johan851 said, "Sarcasm.")

This thread should of been in "humor". :D
There is no software, besides defrag/system cleaning utilities that can speed up your pc, and that is limited to only how fast your pc really is. Every thing else is hogwash. There is nothing that can speed up your ram (overclock yes!, but we all know that on this site) or make it more in size, share cache or otherwise. If it can't happen in the command line or BIOS, it is just a joke. It is really funny the poor saps who may bite into this guys scheme.
