Looked at the manual, searched on the internet without success,

What is that stick you pick up in Doom 3 that makes your heart beat faster? What is it & what does it do?

that red thing is Adrenaline

Adrenaline:
Gives unlimited stamina for a brief period of time.

I believe it's just some kind of adrenaline shot/booster/crazy-go-nuts thingy. When you pick it up, switch to your fists and just attack everything you see. Honestly, that was the most fun I had with that game...storming everything in sight and beating it to a bloody pulp...the rest was...meh. ;)

No when you get possessed everything goes red I believe, this thing is for extra stamina or something, you hear your heart beating fast and loud....

Its called Beserk, it makes you Invincible for a short period of time so u can have fun punching Hell knights and such and splattering them in one shot. Its not a stick its a Helmut with horns on it.

Thier are only 2 in this game. In the older Doom's the berserk were black med packs.

before you enter the hallway leading to the servers, on the left on top of a box.

There are lots of them throught later levels, but I've asked lots of people and they don't know what I'm talking about...

There's a few of them spread out over every level. I couldn't figure out what they did either and my best guess was that when you use it you don't take as much damage. I never really payed attention to this however so I still have no idea what those things do. The beserk helmet is a totally different thing from these for those who got confused.

Speaking about Items, 2 thingsi never found in this game were the Megasphere's, you know those Blue balls that make ur health 200, and the Invisibility things.

I forgot what they are called they may not even be in this game, in the older Doom's thier were powerup's like Invisibility, and God mod , and a health boost +100. None are in this game

There a mixture of smack and crack, to help you on your rampage, oh no its not im think of the beserk thingy

you really must have to go searching for some of that stuff because i didn't find any powerups

same here...I wasnt sure what happened to me when i went all fast and red and my hgeart was beating, i didnt know i was invisible though...
