I have four of these, minus the center larger fans, because it is an older model. All four have hard drives in them, Micropolis 4gig SCSI, Western Dig 20gig IDE, Fujitsu 10gig IDE, and anoter Western Dig 20gig IDE.
The bottom two seem to function just fine, they are the Fujitsu and Western Dig, I feel cool air being sucked into them. The other two, which are at the top of the case (Enermax file server, 10 5 1/4 bays), are the remaing Micropolis and Western Dig, though I feel hot air being sucked into them.
So the question is, should they be exhaust or intake fans?
