I managed to pick up a rare Powercolor X800XT PE AGP card locally :) It's stock speed is 520/560 according ATI Tool and idle and load GPU temps from ATI Tool = 36-39C idle and 64-68C load.

Front side has Samsung 419 GC16 chips, Backside has Samsung 422 GC16 chips heh
I used initially Omega 8.07 drivers then Cat 4.11 official. The Omega still was ~100pts faster in 3dmark2003 than Cat 4.11 for my card and faster in 3dmark2001 too. But here's a full set of 3dmarks using Cat 4.11 drivers at stock cpu speeds with my gaming OS image.

Wait a minute....you're claiming you get a better OC due to a specially shielded power cable? Is that what you're saying????

@ Newegg Ill
Thats crazy, those things are sooo short, and you plug a normal molex into them and they are not shielded before they enter this thing. If this really works then OCZ should build this into their PS. Eva, are you 100% sure about the clocks with this vs. not? Please test again excluding any other changes;)

I think I might try shielding my current vid molex and see what happens:burn:

Your CPU is tottaly maxed out there? Looking good, i'm sitting right around 32K with my sig computer. Pretty similar clock we have on the cpu, minus the memory bandwidth. I'm gonna push mine for max marks here within the next couple weeks, hoping to get myself 35Kish :p

How much does Win 2000 and DX8 do? Any other tweaks you know of that help with scores? I'm not that hardcore of a bencher :p I'm more than happy with my results (32,200) on my setup. What really kills me is the nature test, i can't get over 545/565 without a hardlock. Mind you i'm all air cooled, no mods. My XT has the 1.6ns memory, but obviously won't do the clocks a PE can do. I thought my sapphire might have been a rebadged PE at first, but the more i see other PE's, the less i think that. I think some better cooling is in order :)
Nice job btw, 2 thumbs up.

WIN2K + DX8.1 can give you 400-600pt boost easy :) Tight 2-2-2-6 timings can give another 400-800pt boost too especially at high fsb which car and lobby tests love

Makes me wish i had a copy of Win2K laying around. Maybe i'll toss my BH5 into the AMD rig and see what she'll do. Although, i've heard the MSI doesn't play nice with BH5. I think i'm gonna vmod the x800 and go for some higher clocks, getting 40+ less frames on nature than most people with an x800 isn't helping my scores at all....lol

Does newegg have these molex enhancers? I don't understand how they work when they are just extensions. Isn't a chain as strong as its weakest link?... meaning, since you are using the same cheezy wires to connect to these 'enhancers' wouldn't it not make a difference?
I have a BS in physics, so I do have a brain when it comes to this. Would anyone care to explain how this helps?

wow... nice results. i'm waiting for nforce 4 so i can do dual geforce 6800s on an FX-55, 2 GB dual-channel DDR400 and then hit some overclocking...
yeah. i'm working on the money right now.
hehe. you're doing well. i like those 3dmark scores.

Would anyone care to explain how this helps?
not entirely sure how it works.. some info on ocztechnology.com web site IIRC
I got them but they didn't do anything 'cept maybe extend the life of my card by a couple of days  .
Oh well, I'm guessing that I need a better PSU instead of just some EMI Filters. I knew I should have just went straight to the OCZ Powerstream 520W. Anyways I picked them up for like $13 Canadian after taxes and such so it wasn't too bad.

Finally it took new 3.4E 550 SL7J8 water cooled cpu + stock heatsink air cooled Powercolor X800XT PE to break 15k! And i still have alot of room on the core than can do another 25-35mhz if i find a way to attach zalman fan bracket and 190cfm delta fan over the card.

What happend to your 609mhz core OC? Did your card start to show instability at the speed? Or (hopefully not) is it starting to degrade, as in each stable OC becomes unstable after a time and you have to keep bumping it down?

read the compare urls of all the 600+ core benchies i.e. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8245844 i use 120x38mm delta 190cfm fan + 2x 80x25mm adda fans blowing over the stock heatsink .. so technically still stock heatsink heh

I can't use my zalman fan bracket on my setup as their's no pci bracket bracket to sit the bracket on, so instead grabbed a few spare Aerocool Lubic 4480 kit parts and made a VGA cooling stand :)

DFI 875P-T has a new beta bios 12/30 out seems to give me an extra 30-40mhz top end benchable speed as well
Just scraped in to 30k mark for 3d2k1 :)
