Is the 650 smaller than the L30? I had the L30 and it lasted about 2 months before the motor sounded like a freaking 1960 camaro with no exhaust.

The L30 looked small in the picture, much like the 650, but it was actually pretty darn big. Anyone have this sucker for actual size? It the length I'm concerned about. I had to remove my hard drive tray to fit the L30 in, I hope I don't have to do the same wth the 650.

Thanks

From what i could find the hydor l30 is 4.5" long, 3" wide 3.5" high
The 650 is 3.5" long, 3.5" wide and 3.5" high

yea, i think the 650's smaller. i have an L30, which is actaully 3rd hand (bought it from a guy who bought it from another guy) and it sounds great, nice and quiet...well you must have had some bad luck. what case do you have? i was able to fit my l30 in without any modding...
