"B" is Intel's secret code for "runs on 133mhz bus".

Looks like you bumped your 450 from 4.5 x 100 to 4.5 x 133, or 600mhz.Your BIOS just thinks it is a real 600B chip. Nothing to worry about. My Celeron 566 at 952 shows up as a Pentium3 933 most of the time, but it still works fine.

If you have cookies enabled in your browser, you can set up in usercp I believe to auto-login. That's how I did it as I recall.

Ditto - some boards automatically display a B after a chip's speed if the bus speed happens to be 133. Other boards only display the B if the chip is actually a 133FSB chip from the factory.

mark,

overclock is mainly powered with cooling.. a nice cooling... gives anice overclock.. that's why i run my p3 450 at 600.. dramtic changes :)

btw... i cool it off by...

a. remove the 1 side of the atx casing

b. with atleast 1 meter away from the cpu.. put on the electric fan... (must be far for the magnetic rays can affect the hard drive..

c. boom, change fsb setttings!!!
