ok problem... how do I "undo" its effects... i have no idea what just happened, but look @ pic :confused:

That is certainly odd... try killing the glass2k process, or if your taskbar is around, right click on the process that's doing that, and select no transparency..
 
do you have "special" video drivers that are optimized like the omega drivers? if so, it could be that the effect used is something that they cut out to make the drivers seem faster... otherwise, i couldn't tell ya what is up with that. are you running in 16 bit color or 32? that might make a difference....
