Hi, i currently run a radeon 9200se 128mb/ nvidia gfroce 4 4200ti 128mb. depends what im doing. well i am looking for a new card. Ive been looking at the radeon 9800 pro 128mb and flashing it into a xt. but i heard the 6600(agp) will blow that card out the water, is this true? and when will it come out. im trying to get the card for xmas will it be out by then if so how much u think it will cost?

im guessing this would be better then both cards am i right? i need to know quikly cuz my mom will order it within next few days and ill be able to use it, instead of waiting for xmas lol

6800 is faster than both, yes. AGP 6600GT will probably take another month or two to come out. Go for 6800, good luck!

lol well ur welcome, this question is helping out 3 friends too, we had a arguement bout what to get. so the 6800 is the way to go for sure?

6800 is faster than both, yes. AGP 6600GT will probably take another month or two to come out. Go for 6800, good luck!
another month or two??!! i thought it was supposed to come out sometime November, and we are halfway through November.

do not get the chaintech SA6800, as the cooling is subaverage. you can get a leadtek 6800nu for $270 at www.pcsupplysource.com which is an awesome deal, since leadteks are known to softmod well. pc supply source is also a very good place to buy parts.

thier are 6600's (non gt) already out for agp...they suck tho,but probly around your 9800pro/np scores (stock)

I have to agree with that. I ordered a router from their website and got a confirmation email from them on the same day. I waited for 1 week but it never came. Then I log in to check my order. Guess what.... that item was out of stock and they put me on backorder list. They didn't even bother to send me an email or try contacting me to inform me about the situation. So, I called them and cancel the order. FYI, when I made the purchase online, the system said it was in stock.
Of course, I go straight back to newegg.com. Newegg all the way.
