I recently bought a stick of Corsair DDR400 ValuRam off of Newegg.com. I put it in my motherboard, and checked my bios on the boot to see it register. Well it's only registering at DDR333. The sticker on the outside reads DDR400 as well as the box, but I figured a mistake from Corsair. Sent the RAM back to Newegg via 30 day warrenty, and now the new stick sent to me today is doing the same thing. It's clearly DDR400 from outside appearences. What do I do to get a proper clock speed? And if I'm SOL, can I OC this to DDR400 speeds?

did you try to set it to 400mhz in the bios?

yeah, it's just your bios i think. not the ram. just set it 400 and you will be fine. pointless sending it back to newegg.

Didn't have the internet connection to check this reply. Idiot me never thought of changing the defaults in the bios....*whack*

Thanks for the suggestion guys, running at DDR400 now. =)
