Ok after removing and adding my new SK6(wasn't happy with the glaciators performance) about a million times I finally figured out why I was getting temps around 60C. To the naked eye you would never know but if you put the click on backwards the copper part of the sink rests on the plastic piece where you attach the processor and it will sit unevenly on the processor. I recommend anyone with and SK6 check to see if there HS is mounted correctly because this is a very easy mistake to do.

Ok now.... I added 2 50cfm fans in the front sucking air in and 1 50cfm fan in the rear exhausting. I have an SK6 with the Yteck 50cfm fan on the heatsink. That fan is pushing air onto the heatink. I also have a PCI slot exhaust fan(****ty) and a bay cooler fan(****ty)

My idle temp is 43, my internet temp is 46, and my folding load temp is 49.

What am I doing wrong here? How are these people able to get such good temps with air cooling. It is 76 F in my house. My MB temp is 38.8C and there is an aux1 reading of 30.9(i have no clue where this temp sensor is anyone know???)

I am going to be online for awhile talking to as many people will write me. My aol IM name is davidborden1234 and my yahoo IM is dborden98

I am somewhat new to this, but I can tell you that my Temps were running higher than I liked until I did some research and made it my goal to get better circulation inside the case. My temps dropped pretty good once I rounded my cables and tucked them away as best I can. The Temps REALLY dropped when I added a Radio Shack Turbo fan to move the air around the case. I'm running 92mm Intake at front, 60mm Exhaust in back, 60mm Exhaust on side at top, and the Radio Shack at the bottom under the 3.5 bays where it can get the air that comes in from the 92mm Intake. My temps are:
Cpu Idle 26c
Cpu Load 39c
Mb Idle 23c
Mb Load 24c
Room Temp 21c

Also, the temps dropped about 3-5c when I removed the built-in fan guard at the rear as it was restricting the airflow and actually causing it to backpressure.

Hope this helps some.

How do you know your YS Tech fan is 50cfm?? The strongest 60mm fan YS tech makes is only 40cfm (around 7000rpm).

Your room temp is only 76F which is about 25C but your m/b temp (can be considered as case temp) is 38C. That's too high for case temp, that's why you get higher temps for your CPU. The only thing to do now is to improve case temp. Your SK6 seems to be doing fine (only 11 C above case temp at full load is very good) so stop playing with it.

Tidy up all the wires and cables to improve airflow. No matter how strong your fans are, you're not gonna get airflow if those cables are blocking the air. Maybe post a pic of the inside of your case.

Forgot to say this:
Case temp should always be less than 5C higher than room temp if you have proper airflow. My last midtower case was only 0.5 to 1C above room temp. My current case is about 2-3C higher than room temp but CPU is getting a bit better temp than previous case because this case is more roomie.
