I am running active desktop for links and such to make my life easier (html and java) but dont like the setup for it.

are there any other programs that i can run to set up the same sort of display where it will just have links and such to places on my hard drive or html links?

i know i could use sasami, but i have no clue how to code it, even after messing around with it

My only suggestion is, if you have xp, use the "links" toolbar. Your link won't be one click from launching, but it will be two anyway! just right click on the taskbar, then click "toolbars" then "links". Good luck.

Not exactly sure what is meant by "HTML links" (perhaps HTML anchor tag).

Try Internet Explorer.
