ok guys thanks for your help. which card is better for gaming the bfg 6800 oc
128mb or the 6600 gt 128mb from xfx. this weekend i will be buying it. thankyou for helping me.

that depends on how much you want to spend and what you are going to be doing. The 6800OC will probably be faster, but the 6600GT will be cheaper. Personally, I hoping to get the 6600GT for the price, but the 6800 is great.

their performance is extremely similar, and so they are priced very similar

assuming you're talking in agp terms, the 6600gt is really a new card - its overclocking potential is unknown atm it seems - so if you're into ocing your vid card then the smart answer is to wait and see which has more headroom to grow in ocs ;)

6800 OC hands down. Has the ability to softmod as well.

6600GT like im getting AGP. NVidai is abandoning the 6800 Vanilla. :bang head
