FX59XX's - How well is HL2 running?

Just want to hear from people playing HL2 on any 59xx cards. What your settings are, your results, and your oc if any.

There is one user that claims his 5900U can play the game at very high res, he even went far as to say with DX9 code.

Kinda remind me of the 9800PRO user who can play farcry and doom 3 at 1600/1200 aa af no lag.

I can't see a 5950 doing anything that resembles fast for HL2 using DX9 coding, that just doesn't fit in.

With that being said, it seems that not only will the game be playable. But you will enjoy some of the best fps from a aging card you can get.

These benchmarks were to show how well the 6800 is vs the 800pro, but the 5950 stands out to me regardless of which shader it was using. :drool:
