Stuck in Halo2

ok so im playing on normal and i am at the part where you are playing as MasterChief and you are going through the covenant comple to get the sacred i con (i think) using cortana's aid and you go down that elevator and rescue two marines and then i think she says you have to rescure two more?? where are they and how do u get to them because all of the doors are locked! what do u do??

Im not 100% I know where you are but I think you need to go to the bottom middle and there should be a door there.

there are a bunch of doors, there are three levels, each has 3 doors and the bottom level on the far left door is where cortana opens up the door and the marines come out, but all of the other doors are locked

once you resuce them, another elevator will open up next to the one you came from.

you go down that, free more marines, kill the baddies, then go back up.

obviously, if your that far, you will know the elevator are a purple ring thing.

Each time you rescue one group of marines another group is unlocked, there are three groups in all to rescue.

but for me level where u free the marines is the lowest and you can only go up, maybe i am wrong but 1 thing for sure is that i have looked and there are no more badies left, so i dont know ill look again.... :confused:

There is one set of marines on the middle level and one on the lower level, in each instance cortana will be next to the door you need to open.
