how loud is your 6800?

I recently bought pny 6800gt the first thing the card is as long as motherboard, the other thing is cardis loud extremly loud, I have prommy and this thing might be as loud as prommy (fan sound) right know that the only thing I am hearing that is really loud is the fan on the card. I check temps on the card and it says 41 ambient and 56 gpu core temp. Is yours so loud?, what else can I use to cool it?

Yes it is that loud and getting a VGA silencer fixes it. The SIlencer makes no noise at all.

I second that, VGA Silencer is nearly silent, and it satisfied me with its temp results, but they didn't make an accessory for the Ultra series, so now I have to cut a hole in my original one :(, other than that, I'm pretty satisfied, just going to do the "drill" :).

I never really ntoiced how noisy it was until i took the fan off and added a waterblock o nthe card, when i turned the pc on i was huh wow my pc isnt as noisy as before.
