Me thinks humidity got in a Sound Blaster PCI sound card because it doest work anymore and I live in a very hummid area. The card was laying around for almost a year on a shelf gathering dust when I decided to use it again for a Linux box I put together. It was working fine when last used.
So can I brush it down with something like alcohol which evaporates to get the humidity out? or which fluid is recomended? WD40?
When I install it, the PC acts like if nothing was there, says it cant find the card to install drivers.
