CS:S Mic prob

Ok, when in game i can't seem to get my mic to work. It works in windows when i test it but not in cs:s. i go to test mic and hear nothing, i don't understand. Anybody have an idea?

just wondering do you have the mic enabled? does it show anything on the little sound amplitude meter thing when your in the game?

yes it's enabled, but when i press 'test mic' no bars light up.

Check to see that everytime you start up CS:S You dont accidently kick the mic out, then when u quit, you kick it back in.
