anyone Know i gotta finalize it this weekend?
personally id go with the 6600, only because of the newer core. i know very little about all these new ones, but the new cards are supposed to be pretty good. Google it and get some becnhies, then compare to 9800pro ones

I got my Abit 9600XT w/vivo from Newegg 6 months ago, and it came in a brand new box, everything in a new plastic bag with all the cords and accessories and A MANUAL. I haven't had a single problem with it. you also have a 15 day(from when you recieve it) warrenty with refurbs at Newegg.:burn:
You can take a look at the anandtec write up here:

I think its pretty unanimous that the 6600GT is the best in its price range. I cant see anyone however not being please with the 9800 or 9700 for that matter. The 6600GT frequently outclasses the previous gen cards in its class and sometimes rivals the more expensive of this gen depending on the scenario. If it was my money I would get the 6600GT or the 6800NU which has been seen for $240 from fry's I believe.

What form of cards? PCI-E or AGP? And would you be looking at SLI tech at all?

6600GT kicks the 9800pros a**, besides the 6600GT has GDDR3!
Does the DDR-3 give the 6600gt any lead over the 6800nu or would the 6800nu still be the one to go for if that's your budget?
I'll be picking up one of these for my brother soon so I'm interested in this as well. I've been looking at the 9800pro and it seems that it's getting phased out now...
