Hey all the specs of my rig are in my sig if you are wondering. I can reach 2.5 ghz with my corsair value select ram at 1:1 currently at 217 fsb if i overclock anymore my system will freeze after about 5 minutes of running anything like Half Life 2 or prime95 i was wondering if i change the mem ratio would i get a better OC? also what mem ratio would be the best for my setup. Im really bad with mem timings and ratio so would really appreciate some good help. Thx in advance.

read that, that has some great info. It says if you use anything but a 1:1 ratio for an AMD chip, its really going to hurt your performance. If you want to reach a higher FSB or stability, try losening the timings of the ram and/or first lower your cpu multiplier so you can rule out the cpu causing the freezing. if you lower the multiplier and the freezing stops, then its the cpu, not the ram. If your FSB is as high as you want to go, then make the timings a little bit higher, and then lower one, test, rinse lather and repeat. gl
