Just picked it up for cheap, replacing my dead Tnt.
The 2d is very nice(though definately not any better than my Radeon).
My problem is the 3d, I knew well before I bought it that Matrox and 3d aren't big together. But I'm wondering if anyone knows of some tweaks, and how much I can expect to overclock this puppy.
Every bit helps, thanks guys.
My understanding is that they aren't much for anything other than good 2D. Period.
Don't think there's any overclocking, it's just what it is. Good.

Make sure you have the latest bios and drivers from here. (http://www.matrox.com/mga/support/drivers/home.cfm)
Try this utility to try to o/c it. Get the mtstu40103.zip file and go to the tweak and then to the clock tweak. Go here. (http://www.matrox.com/mga/support/drivers/files/ftp_util2.cfm)

Nope too young to be a business kinda guy...gotta get through school first.
3d is not all that great with it. Running default 3dmark 2000 I get a score of 982 3dmarks:mad:. If I run low resolutions in 3d i can game kinda smoothly. (i.e. 640x480 in quake 3 gets me like 30fps). The 3d could be better, but 2d's nice with it though. When I got the card a while ago it wasn't half bad. Dont expect any smoot high res 3d games.:(
The card lasted me for quite some time since the celeron 300A@464 was the first system I had it in and it ran quite well. But with the games out now I need a new card.
