Ok well there is a dang good chance I'll be building a new PC in the new year
it WILL be a Socket 775 with the Intel 925XE chipset, meaning PCI-E.
Now looking at reviews, I wont be buying top of the line for sure, but will want something with good bang for my buck, seeing performance reviews from a few sites is showing NViD to have retaken the performance/dollar crown, is this infact so? I've been an ATI user for oh so long, but having no need for the ATI media Center anylonger, and now just looking for Performance, at a price.
does NViD offer me that over ATI now? should I stay with what I know, even with poor linux suport? ( I play with Linux from time to time, as it gets easier to emulate games I leave windows for longer periods of time )
SO I come to you, the gurus of Video information, sway me in your direction, Links, Articals, case studies, well thought out arguments for sub $350 dollar cards.
I'm a poor sap who just droped a wad of case on an engagement ring, I need to get the best for my buck on the new PC.
