Yes, it works! My friend has old Intel AL440LX mobo, and
we tested my Cel2 800 processor with that mobo.
Unbeliveable, but it really works! but only 650MHz, because
max.FSB is 80MHz. No, no, can't be possible: LX mobo and
FCPGA processor..? But it is possible!! All <800 Celerons
should work with this mobo, because of 66MHz default FSB.
We used only cheap S370->Slot1 adapter! There was only
one problem: First of all, we tested 3Dmark2000 with
Voodoo3 3000AGP. Everything worked! But then we replaced
Voodoo with GF2MX, and all applications with 3D hangs at start.
With original, P2 266MHz there is no problems.
So, Cel2 650/Voodoo3 works!
Cel2 650/GF2MX hangs when starting 3D apps/games
P2 266/Voodoo3 or GF2MX, both works!

What a hell?

Ok if I was you I'd update the bios and get a better slocket and send that pup to doing either seti or folding.
With a better slocket you might be able to run it at spec or even Oced. Also the updated bios would help in that matter.

Good luck on that OC man

Well, I wouldn't call it an OC. More like an UC (Under clock). Still kinda cool to know that it works.

Hey see if you can find a slotket with the 100FSB setting.

Like to see if you could run it. You've already found something fairly un-heard of.

sure it works! because celerons are really designed to run on 66mhz :)

greedy isnt it? but true, that's why overclock it to 133mhz is really dramatic.. you'lle see differences and amaze you

ok.. info again :)
