Hey eveyone i just upgraded from a 9600 pro. I have ONE huge problem though. Now in Halo, with the new card, when you get the invisible thing, it doesnt look all metallicy and water like, like my 9600 pro showed, it just looks transparrent and gross. Someone PLEASE help me it is killing me, this card is really really great. But that little thing is just buggin. I already cleaned all of the ati drivers with Driver cleaner 3.

Thank you,
I am using 67.02's but i have treid 66.81's and 66.93's. Setting i have AA is application controlled and AF is also application controlled, i have done it with AF at 16x as well. Image quality is at high quality. Vsync is application controlled. Which i usual dont have on. But i have treid it with it on, same thing happens.

what setting did you have your 9600 pro at. i would say put AA and AF on not application controlled. rather have it on user preferrence.

i had nothing on on my 9600 pro, it couldnt handle anything. Okay in the nvidia, setting i put 16 af an 8 AA, still does it. Maybe i am missing something. I have always been ATI. So i dont really know the controls for nvidia.

Well, the game dosn't support AA but DOES support AF. Have you tried reinstalling drivers? Some of your old drivers could have been left behind and causing errors in Halo. Try using Nasty File Remover, you can download that at www.guru3d.com and go to Downloads. Good Luck.

Here i found how to take a pic, see its like youre 600GT that 9600 looks so much better. I dunno why

i used driver cleaner. Yeah i figured that it didnt use AA. When i use NFR, it does something weird. Something that has to do with record now???

So, does this bug you or not. I play Halo alot. So its kinda a downgrade. Sorta, i can have Af on full, but still, i really liked the way the other one looks. So is it nvidia that needs to release a new driver, or Halo that needs to release an update? Who should i call.

It might be both, i was talking to my friend about this and he said its prob the game that needs to be updated. Im not sure tho. I dont play Halo on the PC much anymore but if i was it would bug me yes.
