Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving. I have a 9600xt and just purchased a HDTV that I would like to get High Definition pictures on , will adding a TV tuner card to my system give me what I want, or must I get an All-in-Wonder card, or can I do it at all with my puter. Thanks Dan

Thanks for the link, but I am not sure of the use. I Have the new Samsung 61 inch DLP Monitor/TV and can easily run it with my puter using s-video, or composite. I guess my question is, With a tuner card, is the output from from the 9600xt --"HIGH DEFINITION"

you can change the output to what ever resolution you want. And it can be insanely high, higher than any hdtv ive ever seen can handle. 1080i is 1776x1080 ~ (cant member exact numbers). You need to hook up your hdtv from your computer using the DVI output. If your hdtv does not have DVI input, then you need a DVI to component adapter.

Thanks Sevin, This monster has every sort of connection imaginable. Watched my first movie on it last night,,,AWESOME TV. I will just get a Tuner card and try running HDTV then

NO! You do not need a tuner card! Those things have video input which makes your computer a TV. You already have what you need. Just buy a DVI cable, and plug ur graphics card into your hdtv. Boot your computer before you plug it in so it will allow you to change the resolution to what ever you want it to be. There was a complete guide on HDTV gaming.... but i cant seem to find it now.
