Dual Xeons performance

ok got a new server dual 2.4 533s. 2gb. 2 scsis 73gb 10,000 rpm.
small business server 2003.

the performance isnt eactly what i would call lightning...

is this right? it seems to be a bit of a slugger...

Perhaps this would be a question for the smp section, not regular Intel single?

Server 2k3 isn't all that zippy too... compared to 2000. That can also be the issue too.

I am there with you, I have a 2.8 Nocona setup and it does not seem as fast as my dual Athlons.
