WinFast GeForce2 MX SH Pro (GeForce2 MX-400 with 5.5ns memory)

I can upgrade to this card for about $50 after selling mine or should I just save and get a radeon 64 ddr vivo.

Second what is the benefit of 64 ddr ram over 32 ddr ram is it actually used at all. Third is the 32 DDR radeon a good pick as well. I just want better 2d video than my Asus card and also to improve my 3d and 3dmark2001 score

If I were you, I would definately go for the Raddeon ViVo. Way better features, GREAT 32bit performance, ect. An all around great card.

I use to have that asus card also and loved it at the time. It was able to give very high scores in 3dmark2000. It overclocked high and stayed cool. I wouldn't buy any MX cards and don't buy the ASUS 7700 Deluxe either which i have now. It does get good scores but runs very hot ; at least for me and i've even put on a bigger heatsink and fan. Wish i went for the geforce ultra or geforce 3.

have replied in that radeon ve thread, but here you go:

the mx400 would hardly be an upgrade, if at all. i've both an mx400 and a gf pro, and if anything the gf pro is a bit quicker that the mx400, in both my tbird/ddr system and my duron/sdram system.

i'd say definitely wait for the radeon.
