Firefox's Tab Handling

There is only one complaint I have about the current Firefox browser, but I think its a valid one if in fact I have reason to complain. This is Firefox's handling of tab's, which I think Avant Browser does a better job of. Does anyone know of an extension that I could install that would have tabs in Firefox load like the tabs in Avant browser, so that at a certain point it just starts a second row of tabs and doesn't just try to fit them all into one row?

http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/_tabextensions.html.en will give you everything you could ever wish for in the way of tab options. go to appearance -> tab bar and mark multi-row under for too many tabs. that should give you what you want.

that extension slowed my firefox to a crawl. so i uninstalled it.

there's a slight lag when making a new row, but it doesn't bother me.

The only gripe might not even be this FF extension, but when i click another browser, it sometimes automatically closes it so I have to go to Tab --> Undo Close Tab (the shortcut for this action, Ctrl+Shift+z, sometimes doesn't respond).

I am not sure why it slowed it down unless you are running on low resources anyway.

nope...my pc has no low resources problem. but i really don't need the extension so i just won't install it.

I understand that, I am just trying to figure out why, I have the extension installed and it doesn't bother my browser one bit.
