I am kind of new to folding so I will ask the experts. I have several systems folding.
A64 3500+
AXP 3200+
Dually 2100+
P3 1.0
Should I not be doing more than 270-290 ppd? Just trying to figure this stuff out. Sorry for being the noobie here.
You should be producing more that 290 ppd if all the rigs are folding 24/7. By my estimate your maximum prodution with dedicated rigs 24/7 should be nearly 740 ppd. If all your rigs were folding p112_p678_L939_K12M_355K (Tinker core and one of the best producers on AMD rigs excluding big packets which aren't currently available in quantity) you should expect the 3500+ and 3200+ to produce around 190ppd each, the dually around 300 ppd and the P3 about 60 ppd. Gromacs are going to produce fewer ppd but not like what you're seeing. Running cpu intensive apps is going to cut production but again not like what you're seeing.
Make sure your user name is correct in client.cfg on all rigs.
Check the task manager to see if anything is sucking up cpu cycles. The FAH cores should show 99% almost all of the time.

Might want to make sure you're using -forceasm in case SSE is not being used on the AMDs for some reason. -advmethods and selecting to get big packets in the client.cfg can help too if they're available and if you have enough ram.

all are 24/7 machines with 512 ram and advmethods. Its killing me. Oh and most are idle 15 or more hours a day. and light use when they are used.
Have you read the log files on each rig to make sure they're uploading and downloading properly?

I would try deleting the FAH program you are using and try installing one of the "One-Click" Folding programs from our forum.

oh sorry. all of these are the wedo one clicks.
*sarcastic* You mean there are other installs?
Did you change the config file for your user name?

yes. I changed the cfg file for my name. I am getting wu but they are long time low pointer ones. I did just change the flags and took off the -advmethods. I read somewhere, I think here that it hurts the amd rigs. I also changed my dually to accept big packets as well.

Yes there are other "One Clicks" but they are from other forums and I don't know how well they work or even if they have a guy like Wedo who will answer your questions.

Is there anyway to spcify tinker/amber/gromacs? I noticed that I am doing a lot more wu's than before but they are all like 20-40 point ones. I got to 10k points on 70 wu's but now it took me another 68 to get another 5k in points(just got past 15k yay me). Sorry again I am a noobidiot. lol

Yes, but most of the Folding sections on other forums talk like this:
Yo, check my mad folding skills yo!
or
yB FAH 733t roxxors all your bases belong to us.
