I'm looking to "upgrade" my CPU and I was wondering what opinions you could give me on these processors for OC'ing?

Or some sites on this subject.

I would wait for the 1.533 that is coming very shortly, it will run way cooler and it is a good starting point. It will have 2 flavors, 200 and 266mhz FSB. I have reserved a 1.533 200FSB version for my setup, I wanna taste 2ghz!!

But they run hotter and the O/C are not the same as 1.33, if money is an issue, go with the 1.33. Avoid the 1.4. My opinion.

by the time that the 1.4 or the 1.33 gets to your house the 1.53 Palamino will be up for sale. And they will run cooler and faster then the currect chips - i would wait.

Actually I decided to purchase a 1gigAYHJA from OCZstore.
It was fairly cheap and I had an "avia" go bad on me.
When the Palamino comes out it'll cost more than what I would like to spend, I'll wait for the price wars to heat up and then ponder on buying.

ThanX for the replies.

that was probably the smartest thing you could have done. I see those good 1giggers as high as any 1.4 ive seen yet. Heck Trancebear has a 1 gig at 1.61, most of the 1.4 dont even to that. So i think youll be happy
