it appears that the prescott default voltage is about .15 volts LESS than the northwood...

yet the northwood runs hotter and takes more power.

From my quick searches, the northwood 3.2 defaults at 1.5, where the prescott defaults at 1.375 or something like that...is this true, or is my brain just whacked today?

if its true, how does a northwood get longer battery life than a prescott? im so confused.

could it be amperage? more amperage through a smaller process technology? that would explain the heat....

yeah those voltages seem pretty good, but it is the presscot that sucks more juice and runs hotter.

yeah...thats what im saying. How can the northwood have less voltage and run cooler?

i think because northwood eats less amps
