I needed to upgrade my video card to play ever quest 2, so I have a nivida 6800 (apg 8x)atm, when I do my new build around early feb, can I get a mobo which has both pci-e and apg, so I don’t have to buy another vid card and I can still have pci-e to upgrade later ?
edit: im going for a amd 939 cpu
I think it's not possible, and besides the new nforce4 chipset is not even supposed to support agp AFAIK.
Up to now I've only seen two MoBos with both PCI-e*16 and an AGP slot: Intel S. 775, but correct me if I'm wrong if there is more.

you cannot need a better gfx card than a 6800 from EQII. Thats one nvidia's newest performance cards. A cpu and upgrade would give you more. An msi neo2 platinum mobo, and some GOOD pc3200 RAM,and www.zipzzoomfly.com has the 3000+ cpu for less than $150 (939) You should be able to play EQII NoProblem

I don’t want to upgrade my gfx card, but keep it and also have pci-e capabilities for later
thanks guys i guess im sticking with a apg bord :cry
I have heard that they weren't going to make boards with both capabilites because that would mean the system would have 2 seperate I/O systems?.... I must have heard wrong.
