saw this on ebay- I emailed the seller (comp shop in GA) and he said they were returned by customers - w/n post.
Probably a bad BIOS flash.

It is still covered under the Abit warranty but we do not wish to send it back to them for replacement.
Somehow I have trouble believing that.

Well, if you want a dead motherboard so badly look at his other items, he's got tons of dead motherboards.
Probably is still under some kind of warranty from Abit.............................................. ..........but they dont have the receipt, or something catchy like that.
$32 shipped for a dead motherboard. Or, you could get a working one for $40 EASILY.
If you look closely, at his picture, it is a v 1.2, instead of a v2.0. There are no mounting holes around the CPU, for a water block.
Of course, this could be just a generic pic, and not one of the actual mobo.
And yes, ABIT will fix it, if it is less than 2 years ago. Your reciept from this guy should be enough.

This is slightly off. The v1.2's had the mounting holes and were virtually identical in appearance compared to the first v2.0's. Only the v1.0's did not have mounting holes, and the rare v1.1's had irregular mounting holes that did not allow for a proper fit.
I think I can sort of see a mounting hole in the Ebay pic and after checking some pictures, it does look different from a v1.0-1.2 NF7-S.

Heh, I'm sure you're right on that. What I get for posting and working on an essay at the same time. ;)
