Does anyone know if the NV Silencer 5 will work on the 6800 non-ultra, I know it works on the GT/Ultra but am unsure about the nu. I have a PNY card, its running hot, 60 idle, 70 load, the load temp isnt bad but my idle temp should be lower, im getting 400/800 out of it, with 12800 3dmarks, thanks.

yes it works on all cards except the Ultra series due to these cards requiring 2 pci slots.

Got it on an PNY non-ultra, it will drop your temps around 10C depending on case temp.
Excellent product, took me longer to take the old HSF off then to install it.

we need a cooler for the 6600gt. These cards overclock like crazy w/ the stock piece of trash cooler, I caint wait 4 an aftermarket cooler to boost my card over 10k in 3dmark03.

Don't worry, the NV43AGP cooler is about a month away...and yes, it'll cool the ram as well and be actively cooled! :clap:
I'll post more info as the protyping process comes to an end...
