Hey everyone. Well I finally decided that my insocket thermistor must be off by ten degrees so I said what the hell and overclocked even with my temps really high.

After 24 hours of burn in after my overclock my system seems to be running perfectly stable

11x150mhx 1650mhz, cas 2, auto timings, 1.850vcore
temps are 47c -52c or more realistically 37C-42Cload. I am going to buy a digital thermomenter from radio shack just to make sure though. But im almost positive as my system runs beautifully right now.

This is my system listed below.

Any suggestions comments? Think i can go higher? Im so excited I finally got this to work.

i bet you can hit 1700 with that setup. your temps are ok. even if the thermistor is telling the truth, i wouldn't worry too much.

well...
for one, i think you SHOULD get as accurate a temp reading as you can... for only the simple fact, it can save your chip... or make it last longer.

the temps you are reporting, are not that bad tho...
if you are stable, then all hail!!!
it's now just preserving the life span, IMO

i think you have a good chip, and mobo... observing your FSB...
are the NB/SB chipsets cooled also?

on my mobo i replaced the hsk's with larger ones and fans...
it has helped.

if i was you, i'd think about very aggressive cooling.
water may get you some serious O/C if not maybe even record setting results!

the thermistors are a good idea. and i would really go all out with what you have there... perfect project materials!
congrats on getting good gear, and i hope it only gets better from here!

Problem is now im broke. I already spent alot of money on fans and the heatsink. I can't afford watercooling and I don't want to risk frying my chip. And no my NB and SB are not cooled. I have 2 80mm 50 cfm fans in the front, 1 in the rear for exhaust and a pci slot cooler and bay cooler and an Sk6. thats all.
