any1 done this anandtech time demo? (link)

i did the above timedemo, with the same settings, high everything, 1280x1024, no AA, and trilinear AF, and i only got 85FPS!!?? and the site got 100+FPS with an x800xt! i have an x800pro vivo flashed to xt pe running at default xt pe speeds... and a 3.6ghz intel cpu (o/c'd from 3.0c presscott) and 1024mb of ram running in sync with 240fsb! surely i should be getting higher fps then anandtech's setup???

any1 did that demo and what did u all get? im i not doing something right... :(

85 sounds fishy, I'm guessing you have vertical sync on.

We used an Athlon 64 4000+ for all of our tests, as well as 1GB of OCZ DDR400 memory running at 2-2-2-10- that is alot faster than what you have, but probaly wouldnt make a 15+ fps difference, but its possible?

oh you are actually fomr anandtech? did u guys use sound drivers when did that test?

i just o/c'd my cpu a bit more, now at 250fsb 2.75ghz and ram @ 1:1 (ddr500) with 2.5-3-3-5

this time when i tried i got 98fsb i think, or around there, still i was expecting a score of over 100fsb even if u had a a64 cpu! i have a better gfx card :(

will hdd effect the scores? my hdd sucks at the moment, got only like 1% free, cant even defrag it!! it sissoft wont bench my hdd either, lol.

AMD 4000+ would have a nice jump over an Intel at 3.6

managed to get my cpu to 3.75 and ram at 1:1 with 2.5-3-3-5 i really dont know what timming is good so i just did the next one up from the tightest for everything :D

managed to get 98FPS now, but still, i thought i'd get 100! as the anand tech test managed to get 125 with an normal XT!
