It ain't unlocked yet if them settings don't open up OR the motherboard doesn't have the feature.

is there any reason why unlocking it with the pencil wouldn't work?

the bios has settings for changing the multiplyer they're just greyed out,

I FORGOT!!!!!!!! WELCOME TO THE FORUMS. To be honest with you, I have had no luck with the pencil trick 'cause my mobo likes a strong signal thru them L1 Bridges(been typing that line waaaaaaay too often) BUT it HAS worked for the rest of the people in the world. I paid double to get a conductive ink pen delivered to my door. There were so many probs with the pencil trick for me like sometimes booting,no AGP signal.........anyway try a few kinds of lead types, some of them don't conduct well enough. Look below at my sig & make one for yourself. It'll help the people here answer your questions if they have the specifics of your system.

Pencil worked fine for me once I broke down a baught a magnifying glass to make sure the bridges were connected and not touching.. it took me a few tries... I would sy get a magnifying glass and keep trying.

pencil trick worked great for me....now there is one major thing u might be forgeting....for example i will use my board...Asus A7V133 rev 1.05 in my book it says that any revisions befour 1.02 multplier in the bios will be disabled....maby u have an early board that also has the multipliers disabled in the bios....how about some old skool work use the dipswitches:)

IF you live near me then I'll bridge those pesky L1s for you! Just come by my house:D . Don't lay it on too thick 'cause that'll be just as bad.
