Chevette Core - Fittings...

Hey gang, the first of my parts started to arrive today.

I got the new chevette core, and the fittings are... decidedly weird.

Anyway, I was wondering if I could stay with 5/8 on the core instead of converting to 1/2.... They are very close anyway, so i doubt they would affect performance.

Thoughts?

Just dip the ends of your tube in really hot water for about 30 seconds, and then they will stretch over the 5/8 od copper tube with a little bit of effort.
