Here is a photo of my home made water coolers. They are made of 2" copper end caps soldiered together. The fittings are machined into the top and have 1/4 barbs for my cooling lines. I pressure tested the units to 80 psi. I am currently using the smaller unit as there is no difference in cooling between the pair. I mounted the block to the CPU using nylon bolts through the MB to a piece of Plexi. Keeps my Tbird 1000 at 41C under full load.

nice, professional look(unlike mine) is there anything inside or just a hole?

I like the look of those things.

If it's just empty space inside, you could easily put in some copper plates to make a sort of a maze layout inside the block.

The inside of the blocks are hollow. When I run my system hard and then touch my puck it is cool as is my cooling lines. I tested the coolers by using a torch on a piece of 1/16 plate with my puck sitting on top of the plate. The metal plate would get red hot but I was able to remove the puck and touch the metal of the puck without buring my hand. I was able to hold the torch on the metal for a long time before I had any real increase in water temp. I also have a Danger Den Mase 2 and the cooling performance is the same as with my own blocks.

where do you buy those copper caps?

Any plumbing supply store. There are the caps that they use to close off a pipe.
