Way to go T.J. !!!!
I've been watching you sneak up on me and shoot past me in the weekly ranking.
The support this group shows to new members is really great. I've spent time in most of the other o/c forums and this is the only place that really goes all out to help the new people. I can't wait for the heat to back off a little bit so I can turn it up a bit more. This weekend I hope to add an in-line fan to my central air conditioning to bring some more cooling to my computer room. The rest of the house is 71F while my computer room has been 85F.
Anyway, thanks for the encouragement. Fold on!
heh.. just got a brandy-new central AC unit, but same old ducts. This thing really cranks! The original owner of my condo never anticipated anyone putting these heat-throwing machines in a spare bedroom so there's only one duct in my computer room. Unlike your part of the country, Would71, we really only have about 2 1/2 warm months here in NH, so it should cool off pretty soon.

71?!?!?!?!?!?! GEEZ! My thermostat is set on 77 and it is hardly ever that cold.
Time for a new AC unit (he says-as if those things were cheap).
Do any of your air ducts blow directly on the thermostat or anywhere near it?
Been keeping the house at a toasty warm 71-72F. :D

I think it only goes up to 30C (90?) a couple of times per year here. Most of the time its around 18 (64F-80F). Hardly anyone except businesses need AC. Our problem at the moment is no water in the hydro lakes. Most of our power is hydro so...
