9600xt 3dmark2001 scores

Is 12,049 an average score for a stock 9600XT. Im using the 4.12 beta drivers.

My friend with a 9600xt scored right around there. Last time he ran it was with....i think the cat 4.7's or 4.9's. Although now that i think about it i think he scored at least 12,200

thats a good score for an old cpu. with a good a64 you should easily be looking at 17k plus

You might want to try 3dmark03 if you want a pure video test. 3dmark01 is VERY cpu dependant, you can get anywhere from 4000 to 16,000 depending on your cpu.

NOt nessecarily. I ran it last night (3dMark01SE), and with a 3.0ghz P4 with HT and a Radeon 9200 I pulled around 7k. So a lower video card can drag your scores down quite a bit.

I can't wait to benchmark this new card (9600xt). But I'm not popping it in yet, I've got a MIR issue with Best Buy and I haven't opened it yet. Sitting on the desk waiting to replace my 9200... for the love of God it's tourture!!!
