Anyone tried this on an Abit KG7RAID board?
Can someoneo write up some quick instructions on what to change as well as what PCR file I need and other files I might need? I'd like to give this a try.

Problem is this:
1)I have no clue which PCR file to use.
2)Which line number do I change?
3)What do I change it to?
Thats all I need to know.
I already read his posts.
This is the thread:

Personally, I don't see how the HLT instruction can lower a CPU load temp. I can understand that halting a CPU when it's idle will lower it's temp, but under load!?? No way!! Something is screwing up the BIOS to report wrong temps. Let's say that before the perform the WPCREDIT trick, your load temp is 51C. Now after doing the trick, your load temp is 42C? Does that even make sense? A CPU under will generate the same amount of heat. Lower idle temp by executing HLT makes sense, but load temp? Something smells fishy.
