Help which Vid card

Im trying to decide on which card out of these cards?? Geforce2 GTS 32mb, Radeon 32Mb ddr, or Radeon Le. Im not a real heavy heavy gamer but would like to get more FPS then i have now as i do play Counter Strike. Thanks

For a few dollars more get a GeForce 2 Ultra 64mb. They are going for under $200 and these are by far the best next to GF3's. They even beat GF3's in some applications. Go to pricewatch.com and checkout the Visiontek cards.

personally i prefer the GeForce line of cards. But i will admit that the Radeon 32mb and Radeon LE are nice..if you want cheap i would get the Radeon LE..with a reg hack and overclocking it performs almost as good as a Radeon 32mb. but if you dont want to do that then go for a GeForce2.. on pricewatch.com the Geforce2 GTS sells for $85,the Radeon 32mb DDR sells for $71, and the Radeon LE sells for $66. i think the GF2 will be worth it for you especially since Nvidia released the Detonator 4 drivers to.they opt for about a 20% increase in performance for the GF2..

well i know that is a much better card but that thing cost $184 smackers i was just pertaining to the cards that i listed. Thanks and just out of curiousity i know the Gforce 2 ultra is a great card but isn't the radeon 64mb DDR vivo just as good if not better for $149??

Fairly even in wieght of FPS in most games, the GTS probably will have the upper hand by a few frames (im speaking in 32bit, Radeon is the same FPS basically for 16bit and 32bit). The Radeon lines picture quality in crispness and color is far ahead of the Geforce line. I know from experience and lots of people will side with me. Its amazing the difference.

For you not being a super heavy gamer the LE is the way to go if you can find it alot cheaper than the 32mb DDR. If theres a 10 dollar difference just get the 32mb DDR and save yourself doin the reg hack(thought its super easy).

go with the le or the 32 mb ddr, or if you have a really fast cpu get a kyro II their overall 2D+3D quality makes up for the loss in fps easily

Thanks everyone for your oppinions and advice. I think the Radeon is the way to go for me. I wanna get a DDR card i was just debating on the geforce. Now i will have enough to get another stick of RAM as the Radeon will save me a few bucks. Thanks again :D

I just bought the ddr Radeon tonight myself. Go to www.newegg.com and you can get it for 71 dollars without the T.V. out on it. It is actually about 5-6 dollars cheaper than the le version with shipping figured in.

System in sig....I get 71 fps in CS at 800*600. And I don't lag through smoke :)

from what i understand the geoforce is "the" 3d card...and radeon is "the" 2d card...i cant deside my self whether to get the radeond 64 or a good geoforce hmmmnn
