This thing is LOUD!
I think the problem is that I have a Delta 38 at home and listen to music 90% of the time so I dont notice. The GG is at work though, and quite apparently screaming at me while I sit there trying to ignore it! :rolleyes: I might have to swap the fan out if people start to say things. At any rate, its a very nice HSF, cools extremely well. Idles at 32, load at 36 on a non-oc gigger that was getting idle 44 load 52 with a ghetto HSF.

Hi Paiynn,

if the fan is too loud for you, try to do the 7V trick and then it should be at a very tolerable sound level. The temps may rise 3-5°C, but I think it's worth it. I did it to my Alpha FC-PAL with Delta fan and now it's quiet!
The 7V Mod was discussed in many other threads, just go to "search" and key in "delta 7V mod" and you should find it.
