registry woes!!!

nothing seems to work when I change stuff in the registry!!! son of a biatch! I am running regedt32 and logged into a workstation at home as the Admin and the changes are saved in the registry but none of the changes work. I am logged in as the Admin for my Domain if that helps not the local admin but i don't see why none of these changes are taking place even simple stuff like renaming My computer using the registry and it doesn't work! and don't even ask if the read only is checked becuz I looked 18 times and the changes are being made.

Have you tried using the regular REGEDIT registry editor? I would try that.

I would also try it while logged into the Local Machine as the administrator instead of the Domain Admin.
